The hand is a tool of unparalleled precision

The relationship between all the structures of the integrated hand in the upper limb is delicate and refined. Injury or disease can affect any or all of these structures and impair the use of the hand.
From the shoulder, to the elbow and the wrist to the hand, we take care in a multidisciplinary team all upper limb injuries, both traumatic (wounds, fractures, sports injuries), congenital (malformations), degenerative (rheumatic lesions, arthritis) or other (Dupuytren’s disease, malignant disease).
Neurological disorders of the upper limb (nerve compression, brachial plexus palsy, quadriplegia, spasticity) are also discussed.
